A strong person is not one that doesn't cry. A strong person is one that sheds tears for a moment , then gets back up and fights again." This anonymous quote rang true in my life so many years ago when my family and I were struck nearly head on by a drunk driver. The crash almost claimed my life. But God had a purpose in sparing my life and returning breath to my lifeless body on the side of the road that fateful night. As the recovery process began, God lead me to victory through resurrection power, faith, forgiveness, healing and miracles.

The Word of God tells us what it means to put our trust in the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-8 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones." (NLT)
